সমযোজী বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ দুটি ভিন্ন মৌলের তড়িৎ ঋণাত্মকতার পার্থক্য 0.5 থেকে 1.7 এর মধ্যে হলে যৌগটি পোলার যৌগ হয়।
ইথানলের C–H বন্ধনের তড়িৎ ঋণাত্মকতার পার্থক্য 0.4।অর্থাৎ C–H বন্ধনে পোলারিটি নেই। কিন্তু O–H বন্ধনের তড়িৎ ঋণাত্মকতার পার্থক্য 1.4।অর্থাৎ O–H বন্ধনে যথেষ্ট পোলারিটি আছে।তাই ইথানল একটি পোলার সমযোজী যৌগ।

An ordinary tea stall is dirty.A ketle is always kept hot on the stove . In a tea stall one or two boys serve the customers with tea or other food as they need.Passengers, rickshaw pullers, officials, lebourers passers by, students,political workers etc. are the customers in a tea stall. A tea stall opens very early in the morning and closes very late at night.In some important places like Railway and steamer station the tea stall remains open round the clock. A tea stall is a popular place.People of different ages and classes come here. Political leaders and unemployed occupy seats and gossip without caring for time factor. A tea stall can best termed as a small sangsad. Politicians discuss the current political situations of the country or foreign countries. Sometimes this discussion turns into a quarrel. Moreover, people from all walks of life discuss their respective issues with one another.In most of the tea stalls a newspaper is kept and so that people get the opportunity of reading a newspaper and knowing various current issues of home and abroad. Thus a tea stall is not only place of getting refreshed with tea but also a place of being informed of various things and exchanging ideas for people. They come to be informed of one another's happiness and sorrows.Sometimes customers raise a storm over a cup of tea.Today a TV set is also seen in area stall both in towns and villages.the owner of the tea stall invasts comparatively little amount of money, but his income is not less.Infact a tea stall being a center of refreshment and a meeting place,plays a great role in social life.
